THE MISSION OF THE PANHANDLE MASONIC COWBOY HALL OF FAME ASSOCIATION IS:
To enhance the visibility of Panhandle Masonry and unite Lodges through our
common historical connections by promoting the history of Freemasonry in
the Western culture;
by honoring Past and Living Masons by showcasing their contributions to the
Panhandle Spirit
that embody fundamental Masonic teachings and tenants;
Presenting these Masons as examples to illustrate the values of service to God
and Country;
portraying these values through a contemporary message that will resonate
with young men today;
Showing that Masonry is relevant today by focusing on becoming a member of
an organization whose significant teachings are life lessons for self-
improvement and enlightenment,
which are the building blocks of character and virtue- the way of life to
becoming a better man;
To promote, host and grow an annual family style event with the intent to
involve not only Masons,
but directed to appeal to families and young men of suitable Masonic
character
and to sponsor related fundraising efforts which enable the museum to
continue its mission.
“To enlarge the sphere of social happiness is worthy of the benevolent design of a Masonic institution; and it is most fervently to be wished, that the conduct of every member of the fraternity, as well as those publications, that discover the principles which actuate them, may tend to convince mankind that the grand object of Masonry is to promote the happiness of the human race.”
