2024 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY AND EXHIBIT

November 9th, 2024

HUTCHINSON COUNTY MUSEUM

BORGER, TEXAS

OUR EXHIBIT IS NOW OPEN!

We are very proud to have partnered with The Hutchinson County Museum as host for our 2024 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Exhibit. It’s justly proper and fitting, since our honoree is Hutchinson County Legend: Plainsman, Pioneer, Buffalo Hunter and Medal of Honor Recipient, Billy Dixon.

Bro. Dixon was the first man to be made a Master Mason in Hutchinson County, and we’re happy to be assisted with this years ceremony by our Masonic Brothers from Billy Dixon Lodge No. 1369, in Fritch.

The Hall of Fame presented the brothers from Billy Dixon Lodge a small shadow box containing a replica 1874 Medal of Honor and a photo of Bro. Billy Dixon.

Museum Director Clay Renick and his staff were very welcoming to Panhandle Masons. They have been instrumental in creating custom graphics, providing space for Buffalo hunting displays, and hosting our induction ceremony. Thank You! Your assistance was invaluable.

Additionally, the museum has a very well done, Billy Dixon display, containing several personal artifacts belonging to Dixon.
